Open Portal for Teachers and Students in Tanzanian Secondary Schools

In Tanzania we have a good number of individuals (professional teachers or non-professionals) who have interests in assisting youths in academic matters. This portal will be a gateway bridging the gap between teachers and students regardless of their location or which schools they are located or teaching or studying.

This will be a place where some of the schools could take this as an opportunity to show the public that they have the best teachers by exposing them to students from any school to ask questions, guidance etc on relevant subjects

Not so long ago, I taught in a TZ school, even a bit at Mzumbe Sek, so I've experienced first hand that Tanzanian secondary school pupils can be very testing of their teachers when they're first feeling them out. They need to be with the competition in the Nat'l exams. I like how you're proposing to build on this, I think it is a little bit special for Tz.

What kind of questions do you expect would be posted on the site?

There are currently a lot of interesting Question-oriented startups in Silicon Valley (see Quora for general questions, Stack Overflow/area51.stackexchange.com for other kinds of questions) and some interesting interactive exam-preparation/study startups like Grockit.com . Do you want to focus primarily on helping students find skilled teachers that bubble to the top or on helping students get solutions (and sharing those solns with later students that visit)?

Would students likely be asking questions about national exam topics?
