Airtime Conversion

How many times have you found yourself stuck with mobile phone airtime from a provider different from the one you use?

The system I propose would alleviate this by converting the airtime from whichever provider to airtime that you can actually use without resorting to buying another SIM card. Charges for the services can be levied as a percentage of transaction amount.

Why?

Because many a time the shops could be out of the airtime that the subscriber requires but have plenty of airtime from a different service provider.

This is an excellent idea!

It could be a commercial enterprise too, taking a small cut from the exchange, or it could even make money only from arbitrage.

The trick is to get mobile phone operators to subscribe to this. Dead credit is profit for the operator, thus operator would need an incentive to relinquish it.
