SMS dictionary/ translation service

http://www.kamusi.org

We have a working prototype of a system for people to query the Kamusi Project (http://www.kamusi.org) database via SMS that we would like to ma further. For example, a mobile phone user can send the following sms: en sw map The sms is received by the server, the database is queried, and the following reply is sent: ramani Advanced users will be able to get more robust results using certain codes. en sw fly #n is a request for fly as a noun (the insect), while en sw fly #v is a request for the verb (moving through the air on wings). sw nzi #def is a request for the Swahili definition of the Swahili word nzi. We can return definitions, usage examples, multiple results if available, etc, as long as we stick within the 160 character limit for an sms.
